10 sessions with Yann, one-to-one French coaching
Speak the French you already have.
Ten one-to-one hours built around the conversations you keep avoiding.
We work on the situations that matter in your week, at work, at the school gate or on the phone. I write your mistakes down while you talk, so the conversation keeps going, and between sessions you can send me anything you write or record.
€750
Or two payments of €375. Ten 60-minute sessions on Zoom or Google Meet, within 6 months.
That is €75 an hour, with written corrections after every session and access by email and WhatsApp in between.
Not sure yet? Talk to me first. No sales pitch, we look at where you are and choose the right path together.

The cost of waiting
Your French won’t start talking on its own.
Most people who understand French and still freeze have a good reason to wait, and each one keeps them exactly where they are.
“It will come back when I need it.”
Understanding comes back on its own, speaking does not. When the moment arrives, a meeting, a call from the school or a dinner with friends, you reach for the sentence and find the English one first.
“Living here will do it.”
After a few years, most expats understand almost everything and still say the same few safe sentences. A busy week rarely asks for more, so the French stays where it was.
“I’ll take a lesson here and there.”
One lesson every few weeks mostly wins back what you lost since the last one. Ten sessions with one thread running through them build on each other instead.
A word from Yann
Why I do it this way
Most of the people I work with don’t need more grammar. They understand far more than they say, and over the years they have built a shield of short, safe sentences so they never sound silly. Correcting them out loud every few seconds only makes that shield thicker.
So I let you talk, and I write your mistakes down while you do. You get them after the session, in writing, and we come back to them until they stop coming back. Between sessions you can send me a voice memo or a few lines whenever you like, because the conversations that matter rarely wait for the next lesson.
Yann
After our session, in writing
You said: Je suis excité pour le week-end.
Better: J’ai hâte d’être au week-end.
Excité means something else in French.
You said: Ça dépend sur la météo.
Better: Ça dépend de la météo.
You said: Je t’ai manqué hier soir.
Better: Tu m’as manqué hier soir.
Manquer works the other way round from English.
You said: Je suis allé au docteur.
Better: Je suis allé chez le médecin.
Between sessionsYour voice memo from Thursday, answered with two expressions to reuse.
What you get
Ten hours with me, and everything in between.
Ten 60-minute sessions, one to one
Every minute is about your French.
No group to wait for and no textbook chapter to get through. We work on the conversations you have, or keep avoiding.
Corrections in writing, during the session
You keep talking while I correct.
I write your mistakes down while you speak instead of stopping you, and you get them after the session to review.
Situations chosen by you
You practise what you will actually say.
A meeting, a call with the school, dinner with your partner’s family. We pick the situations that matter in your week and rehearse them until they feel ordinary.
Email and WhatsApp between sessions
You are never stuck until the next lesson.
Send me a question, a message you are about to send or a sentence you heard, and I answer.
Feedback on anything you produce
Your own practice counts too.
Voice memos, emails, written pieces. Send them whenever you want and they come back corrected.
Six months to take your sessions
The pace fits your calendar.
Every week or every other week, around business trips and school holidays.
How the ten sessions go
From the first hour to the tenth.
Every session is spoken French. What changes is what we aim at.
Session 1: where you are, and what you avoid
Your story with French, how it feels to speak it, and the three situations we will work on first.
Sessions 2 to 4: your first situations
We rehearse them, I write down what slips, and you get the corrections after each hour.
Session 5: a check-in
We look at what has changed, which mistakes have stopped coming back, and adjust what comes next.
Sessions 6 to 9: harder ground
Longer conversations, faster speech, opinions to defend, and the situations you had kept for later.
Session 10: the real thing
You handle one of your situations the way it would really happen, and we decide together what comes next for your French.

coaching hours“He is very good in allowing people, such as me, to greatly build their confidence in spoken French. The fact that he allows you to continue talking, even though you may have done mistakes, is a huge confidence booster [...] he writes your mistakes as you talk, and sends them to you later.”
“He is helping me a lot to interact in spontaneous French and our conversations are totally natural, I really like that he makes corrections in the chat and not orally, this way the conversation is much more fluid.”
“I came with the goal of maintaining my language level, but in the end, I gained much more. I improved my language skills to the C1 level, I prepared for various interviews, and I even received help with writing my CV.”

Are the 10 sessions for you?
They are, if
- You understand most of what is said around you and still go quiet when it is your turn.
- You live or work in French, or are about to, and want to sound like yourself in it.
- You want one person following your French over several weeks, not a different tutor every time.
- You would rather speak than do grammar drills.
They aren’t, if
- You are a complete beginner. You need to be able to tell me about your weekend in French to get started.
- You need B2 for an exam or a nationality file. Start with the Bilan B2, which is built for that.
Six months, and a fair rule on cancellations
Your ten sessions are valid for 6 months from your order. A session cancelled at least 6 hours ahead is moved to a new time. Cancelled later or missed, it counts as taken, as the terms of sale set out. If I cancel, your session is always rescheduled.

Questions.
Something else? Ask me directly.
How long is a session?
60 minutes, on Zoom or Google Meet.
How long do I have to take the ten sessions?
Six months from your order. You set the pace, every week or every other week.
What if I need to cancel a session?
At least 6 hours before, it moves to a time we agree. Less than 6 hours before, or missed without notice, it counts as taken. If I cancel, your session is always rescheduled. It is all in the terms of sale, article 5.
Can I pay in two parts?
Yes, two payments of €375, on the schedule shown at checkout.
Should I call first or book directly?
Whichever you prefer. If you want to check that we are a good fit, the call is free, lasts 25 minutes and comes with no sales pitch. If you have already decided, booking directly saves you the call.
How good does my French need to be?
You need to be able to hold a basic conversation. If you can tell me about your weekend, your French is strong enough to get started. If you tend to freeze when it is your turn to speak, we’ll work on it. However, if you’re a complete beginner, I am not the right coach for you.
Can I message you between sessions?
Yes, by email or WhatsApp. Send me a question, a voice memo or something you wrote, and I answer with corrections.
What if I need an exam later?
Then the Bilan B2 tells you where you stand for the DELF B2 or the TCF, and we can aim the sessions at it.
Can I get a refund?
You have 14 days after paying to change your mind. If sessions have already taken place, you pay for those and get the rest back. After 14 days, payments are not refundable.
Start with one conversation.
Twenty-five minutes, free, to see where you are and whether the ten sessions fit you.
